Winding Down

Here I am 10:14 p.m. and trying to wind down from a busy few days.  Last week flew past Very quickly.  Cooking for missions teams, visiting with Brothers, surviving on one car (while the brothers borrowed a car) work, and church.  That pretty much gives you the cliff notes of what my life has been like for the past week.  I am happy to say that this week seems to not be quite as busy.  Just in time for the weekend when we ramp up again with activities.  Saturday we are going to a baby shower where Lizzie and I are preparing all the food.  STOP- REST- that is what my body is asking for... so tomorrow I am doing just that!
Paul has a doctors appointment tomorrow for his knee.  We would like to know WHAT is causing the knee to constantly lock up.  He has been quite discouraged lately and I would like to see what the doctor has to say.  Then my much needed rest might just have to be put on hold for just a little longer.... After the doctors I am picking Lizzie up and we are going to lunch with a dear friend from church- Miss Betty.  After lunch we are going to visit with Miss Wylma a 92 year old lady from church that we are VERY fond of- She is going to be moving to live with her nephew who can help take care of her.  She will be GREATLY missed and we wanted to make sure to visit with her before she moves on August 6th, which might I add is right around the corner- Where did July go?
All that to say.. I am busy, but blessed and should not and will not complain.  God is working in my life teaching me to keep my focus on HIM for strength- His Grace is SUFFICIENT for me!

Blessings to you all,

Vegas Girl  :-)

P.S. Here is a picture us while we were waiting to meet up with my brothers for dinner.
Enjoy!

Sounds like a very busy week, but also a blessed one. Let us know ASAP what the Dr said about Paul's knee.
Love you,
